Bad RagARTz

Bad RagARTz - that is a summer full of art in the open air. Around 80 artists from numerous countries are showing around 400 sculptures at the world-renowned exhibition.

Bad RagARTz 2021, one of the most renowned open-air exhibitions in the world, lasts from May 8th to October 31st, 2021. During this time, the spa town of Bad Ragaz and - for the first time in the history of the exhibition - the idyllic Valens in the Tamina valley are transformed into a landscape full of sculptures. In addition, the equally popular festival of small sculptures takes place in the old Bad Pfäfers.

The works of art enrich the social space of residents and visitors in the Sarganserland for several months. The list of artists includes illustrious names such as Don Porcaro (USA), Xhixha Helidon (Albania), Christina Wendt, James Licini (Switzerland), Liu Yonggang (China), Samuel Salcedo (Spain), Mahmoud Obaidi (Iraq) or Christel Lechner (Germany).

There is no door and no entry at Bad RagARTz 2021. You only need the willingness to want to encounter art at every turn. The Hohmeister couple's commitment is based on the idea of bringing art out of museums to the public. Events such as DorfART or the numerous art tours enrich the sculpture show this year.
